Characteristics Of Spicy Essential Oils
Similar to the floral scent family of essential oils, spice essential oils are hard to define as the sheer number of options available provides manufacturers with a variety of different options when it comes to aroma. Despite this, the majority of spice essential oils all have one thing in common: potency.
Outside of the strength of the aroma, spice essential oils share very few characteristics. They can be extracted via steam distillation and are sourced from a spice’s root, stem, seed, fruit or bark, depending on the oil you are after.

What Colours Are Spicy Essential Oils?
Despite the variety, the majority of spic essential oils all present within the same yellow colour range. Some oils such as turmeric have a pale, slightly yellow-green colour, whilst others such as clove bud fall towards the slightly darker, golden yellow side of the spectrum.
