Some Raw Materials can be extremely difficult to handle as they can be solid at room temperature or extremely viscous. We can provide bulks of pre blended raw materials with a range of solvents to make their use far easier for the customer, saving valuable time and investment in complex industrial equipment. Aromatherapy and the rise in Natural Fragrances has sparked an ever-increasing desire from consumers for ethically sourced natural aromas. The price point for some end applications can be quite low, at J.C.Buck Ltd we are able to offer wholesale Flavour and Fragrance Ingredients which can replicate the pure and natural materials on which the ingredient is based, allowing Perfumers and Flavourists to access the same odour and flavour profiles but still be able to meet the price point dictated by the end customer. Outbound Quality Control

We have longstanding experience in maintaining robust traceability and Quality Control systems, this has come about as a result of our work within the Flavour industry where Quality Control is paramount to food safety. A Certificate of Analysis is created every time a product is dispatched from our warehouse to make sure that what we deliver is what the customer expects from us.

GC, MS & GCFID

For inbound Quality Control and blend analysis we have both GC, MS and GCFID, both of these pieces of Gas Chromatography equipment and the talented members of staff who interpret the results, allow us to screen volatile raw materials such as Essential Oils, to make sure that we are buying pure products. This allows our clients to utilise our products in confidence that they will deliver the profile required for the final application.

Retained Checks

On almost every occasion that we send a material to a customer we retain a check of the product in sample form and retain these samples for 2 years in case there are any queries regarding quality in the future.

Pesticide Analysis

Pesticide content of Essential Oils & other allied materials is extremely important for those operating in the flavour market. We run periodic checks on some of our essential oils to check the pesticide levels in the raw materials. JC Buck has partnered with Ecologi to plant trees and support other carbon-reducing and ethical initiatives globally. Each month we plant a minimum of 200 trees.

Between 2018-2020 100% of our facilities energy came from sustainable and renewable sources, avoiding 10,000 kg of CO2 annually.

With regard to our governance, we are members of Sedex and follow their guidelines in respect of employee protection and supply chain accountability. Moving forward our aim is to focus on sustainability when sourcing new supply streams. It is crucial for the environment and the business to have a robust and sustainable supply of natural raw materials.
