Water distilled from the leaves & twigs of the Eugenia caryophyllata tree, Clove Leaf finds uses in perfumery where a strong spicy material is required. It can also be used as a starter for the production of important fragrance raw materials such as Eugenol and subsequently Vanillin. The material presents as a pale yellow to dark brown liquid with a harsh spicy odour.
