Cypriol essential oil, also known as Nagarmotha oil, is a rich essential oil extracted from the dried roots of the Cyperus scariosus plant.
Cypriol oil is extracted through the steam distillation of the Cypriol roots which yield an oil that has a distinctive warm, earthy and floral scent. Cypriol essential oil is often used in fragrances that have a distinct Oriental, woody, masculine scent.

Cypriol, also known as Nutgrass, is a native plant in the South Asian region. Cypriol, or Nagamotha, is a plant that thrives in riverbeds and is harvested by local communities across the world, including in India, Australia and South Africa. The roots are washed and dried, before undergoing steam distillation to extract the essential oil.
