What is Celery Seed essential oil?

Celery seed oil has a fresh, spicy and warm aroma. The oil is extracted by steam distillation from the seeds of the plant. This essential oil can also be referred to or known as ‘wild celery oil’.

Celery seed is pale yellow to dark yellow in colour and has a thin consistency.

Origins of Celery Seed oil

Celery seed has a strong aroma and is a natural remedy for pains and overall discomfort. The oil is native to the Mediterranean region and was first used as early as the fifth century by the Chinese.

Celery seed oil is still commonly used in Indian Ayurvedic practices today.

What does Celery Seed essential oil blend with?
