Cedarwood oil Texas is an essential oil extracted by steam distillation from the wood on a juniper’s Mexicana tree. The oil has a sweet, balsamic and woody aroma.

Texas cedarwood oil is golden yellow in colour but can also be colourless depending on its consistency. Additionally, the oil has a medium consistency.

Origins of Cedarwood Texas oil

Texas cedarwood oil is native to southwestern Texas, USA. The oil is used in perfumery and is said to have natural antiseptic properties.

The juniper’s Mexicana tree that the oil is extracted from is native to Texas but can also be found in New Mexico and the majority of Arizona.

Cedarwood Texas oil blends well with bergamot, cypress, jasmine, lavender, rosemary and sandalwood essential oils as their base notes compliment each other.
