What is Beeswax Absolute oil?
Beeswax absolute is a natural, animal-based fragrance that is extracted from honeycomb wax. Solvent extraction is used to extract the oil from the honeycomb as this preserves the scent and components of the oil. Once extracted, the oil is processed with alcohol to produce and preserve its quality.
Beeswax absolute is yellow to brown in colour with a mild to medium strength aroma, the key notes are floral, Ā honey and tobacco. Beeswax is viscous to solid when at room temperature.

Beeswax absolute is primarily used for the perfume industry although it can also be used on some cosmetic and toiletry products as it has the ability to reduce harsh odours.
Beeswax is native to France but can also be sourced in Asia and Africa.
