Cold-pressed from the peel of the pink Citrus paradisi fruit Grapefruit Oil White finds many uses across the flavour & fragrance industry. It is like many other citrus oils a by-product of the juicing industry. For use in drink flavours, the oil is often folded in order to remove some of the terpenes as these are disadvantageous for this application as a visible emulsion will form in the end product. It will add characteristic Grapefruit taste and odour to Flavour and Fragrance compounds. The Oil presents as a yellow to orange-gold mobile liquid with a Sweet fresh citrus dry odour.
