Distilled from the crushed peel of the Citrus aurantifolia fruit, Lime Oil Distilled is used mainly in flavour preparations. The flavour that it imparts into formulations is very similar to the fresh fruit. Lime Oil is therefore heavily used in soft drinks and confectionery applications. The Oil presents as a water white to pale straw mobile liquid with a fresh citrus pine-like odour.
