What is Angelica Seed Oil?
Angelica seed oil can either be white, or pale yellow in colour and has a strong, fresh and peppery aroma which works well as a base note when blending with other essential oils. The essential oil is extracted from the seeds of the plant by steam distillation.
When compared to angelica root oil, the seed oil is slightly lighter and fresher but has an added spice to it from the peppery tones.

Origins of Angelica Seed Oil
Angelica seed oil originates from France but is now also commonly found in rural, mountainous parts of Europe. The plant in which it is extracted from has different parts that are highly aromatic, but it is the roots of the angelica where the essential oil is sourced.
What does Angelica Seed Oil blend well with?
Angelica seed oil blends well with clary sage, patchouli, orange, lemon and vetivert essential oils as they share similar aromas which work alongside one another.
Safety precautions for Angelica Seed Oil
Angelica seed oil requires diluting before being used as it can be harmful to the skinās barrier. Similar to angelic root oil, the essential oil needs to be used in low dilutions of 1%.
